Kingsway Park High School (KPHS) is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work closely with our students, empowering them to achieve their full potential., As a Teaching Assistant specializing in SEMH support, you will:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, including those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Use co-regulation techniques, restorative approaches, and emotional support strategies to help students manage their feelings and behaviours.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and deliver interventions targeting social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Support individual and small-group activities designed to build confidence, independence, and resilience.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual SEND Passports and SEMH action plans.
• Act as a trusted mentor for students, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can thrive.
