Full Job Description
The Workforce, Training and Education (WT&E) Directorate provides leadership for the education and training system. It ensures that the shape and skills of the future health and public health workforce evolve to sustain high quality outcomes for patients in the face of demographic and technological change. WT&E ensures that the workforce has the right skills, behaviours, and training, and is available in the right numbers, to support the delivery of excellent healthcare and drive improvements through supporting healthcare providers and clinicians to take greater responsibility for planning and commissioning education and training., The Foundation Education Programme Coordinator works with the Foundation Education Programme Manager and the Foundation Education Programme Officer in the local office to support the operational delivery of medical and dental foundation education programmes including national recruitment, programme management, finance, and project management and to implement successful delivery of assessments, rotations, Out of Programme (OOP), Inter-deanery Transfers (IDT), Less than Full Time Training (LTFT) throughout a trainee's journey. They will apply locally defined processes whilst following the national policy and process., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher. We have a number of exciting career opportunities within WT&E - South East Region within the Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education Team.We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals with excellent administrative and organisational skills to be part of a team that administers our Postgraduate doctors and dentists in training support and education activities across the region.
