Peterborough City Council are recruiting to the post of Education Safeguarding Manager. This important role supports education establishments across the city with fulfilling their safeguarding responsibilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced education professional with experience of safeguarding in schools or colleges to join the Education Safeguarding Team.

The successful candidate will build on the strengths and reputation of the team to support education establishments with guidance, training and with their compliance with national safeguarding responsibilities and expectations.

The post will lead on the implementation on the new traded offer, which includes providing safeguarding training to schools.

Only candidates that have been or are currently a Designated Safeguarding Lead or Deputy in a school or college will be considered for the role. This is an essential criterion and please show how you meet it.
