Full Job Description

The post holders work will at least two days per week at the Medical
School and be involved in all aspects of teaching , training and education
as well as work towards a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PgCert).
The Academic component of the post will be fully funded and involve
some protected teaching sessions as well as active involvement in delivery
of the students curriculum. The teaching component will include
Anatomy and laboratory demonstrating, preparation and delivery of seminars
and lectures as well as involvement in many aspects of student assessment.

holders will have demonstrated an interest in teaching and training in the
surgical field and be in possession of the MRCS or equivalent., The ability to converse easily and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for all customer facing roles.
Most positions require a Disclosure and Barring check and will be exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Posts working regularly or unsupervised with children or vulnerable adults require an enhanced check.
