Educational Psychologist

As an Educational Psychologist, you will primarily conduct one-off assessments and reports to support EHCP applications or appeals against contested EHCP's (the vast majority of our EHCP cases are only concerned with report writing, less than 5% involve actual tribunal attendance). This involves in-person visits to schools and the occasional home assessment; the employer offers external and in-house training, including specific training on EHCP tribunals and offer 1-1 coaching through the first few reports. The organisation's EP's primarily work from home, travelling to varied destinations throughout the UK (mostly London, and South England) to conduct their assessments, before heading home to write-up their report. Caseloads are light, allowing the freedom to focus all attention on providing the best service possible for clients.   Fully qualified Educational Psychologist
• HCPC registered
• Full driving licence and own transport (if outside London)
• Ideally have tribunal experience (not essential, our client can offer training)
• Someone who puts the child's needs first in your work
• Enhanced DBS check is of course required
