Under the umbrella of the Rise Children and Young Peoples mental health service Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Partnership Trust are expanding our Mental Health Support Teams programme.
Do you have a passion for working with Children and Young People at an Early Intervention stage to support their emotional health and wellbeing?

This is an exciting time to join the MHST programme as we expand the clinical leadership structure ensuring that the programme has stability and leadership to deliver and grow.
Your role as the 8a Whole School and College approach will be vital in the delivery of this essential element of the MHST programme. The role is to work as a Senior member of an exciting service which has been growing since the initial trailblazer of 2019.

Your role will be one of the senior clinical leaders of the MHST service strengthening the clinical offer and structure. You will be expected to oversee and enable the teams to provide a high-quality service to the CYP their families and the school staff.
You will be expected to hold a caseload, support the CYP patient flow through supervision and work collaboratively with the leadership team and external stakeholders.

Rise is Coventry and Warwickshire's CAHMS service. It is a family of NHS-led services providing emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children and young people in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Rise aims to build resilience and empower children and young people (as well as the adults in their lives) to know where to go for help and advice.
It's made up of a number of different services, each led by mental health specialists.
The Mental Health in Schools Team is an NHS service that has been introduced as part of the national plans to expand mental health services for children, young people and their families within the education setting.
Working across Coventry and Warwickshire, we are here to provide mental health interventions, advice, and liaison with specialist services to help children and young people get the right support. We work closely with schools to develop their 'whole school and college approach' to mental health and wellbeing.

We are currently based in schools in South Warwickshire, Coventry, Rugby and North Warwickshire
The team consists of qualified and trainee Educational Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs), Senior Educational Mental Health Practitioners, Specialist Mental Health Practitioners, Team Leaders, a Service Manager and Clinical Lead.
Between us we have a wealth of experience supporting children and young people with their mental health., As part of the leadership structure of the MHST, the post holder will contribute to the development of the team. The post holder be responsible for the delivery of the Whole School and College Approach (WSCA), ensuring the competence and confidence of the Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) to offer consultations, workshops and assemblies within education settings, and an annual screening/needs analysis identifying the wellbeing and mental health needs of the school or college.
The post holder will support EMHPs with the planning and delivery of group interventions in an education setting through providing a programme of continuing professional development.
Be responsible for leading and developing the Whole School and College Approach (WSCA) within the MHST, in liaison with more senior professional and operational leads. This includes:
· Maintaining models of assessment and intervention
· Achieving service targets for WSCA
· Reporting to stakeholder and commissioning groups.
Contribute to training of head teachers, teachers, SENCOs, school governors, etc. on MHST, relevant legislation, procedures, and other relevant issues, organising and leading presentations and workshops as appropriate
