Full Job Description

· Be part of the team who will set up the Educational Psychology Service.
· Be part of the strategic projects the Educational Psychology Service lead on.
· Develop and apply knowledge and skills in assessment, monitoring and tracking progress of children and young people with SEN.
· Support in the development of developing and monitoring service planning, including KPI's and statutory timeframes.
· Be part of developing a traded offer.
· Represent the EP Service within the various meetings and partnerships.
· Work with senior colleagues to drive forward the Education Strategy.
· Work with senior colleagues to improve SEN provision across the Island and contribute towards our Safety Valve work.
· Have a wide range of work including statutory and non-statutory work.

· A qualified Educational Psychologist.
· Able to work as part of a team.
· Ability to access face to face meetings locally.
· High quality verbal and written communication skills.
· A commitment to ensuring children and young people across the Isle of Wight achieve their best outcomes and develop into independent adults.
