Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to work as an Educational Teaching Assistant to support a child with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis within the classroom and nurture spaces. We require applicants with:
- Experience of working with a child with SEND
- An ability to adapt to new challenges and situations
- Creative, fun and innovative ideas for motivating learners
- Enthusiasm for working as part of a team as well as an ability to work independently
- Superb interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with pupils, parents and professionals
- Motivation to develop their own skills and talents in order to support pupils and colleagues
- The ability to work with a small group of children carrying out intervention programmes
- A hard working, resilient, enthusiastic and committed approach
