Full Job Description

  • Be part of the FX electronic trading business (eFX) and develop next generation e-trading solutions.

  • Add pricing/hedging/execution functionality which will help to grow the business which is technology driven.

  • Work closely with Quants and eTraders, understanding and enhancing automated eFX pricing models.

  • Opportunities to work across the full stack from front end to server.

  • Build tools and analytics that help drive the business decisions.

  • Use industry leading techniques for development of real time, low-latency trading systems and analytics., Front office Quant Dev team within principal e-trading business, with a business reporting line. All London based.

    5+ years of core Java experience.

  • Finance experience useful, but not essential, exceptional developers should apply.

  • Motivated to learn about the business and technology used in electronic trading.

  • Adept at picking up new frameworks and enhancing where necessary.

  • Experience of low latency event driven programming.

  • Performance profiling and optimisation.

  • Familiarity with market standard encoding (FIX, SBE, StreamType) plus (JMH, Yourkit etc)

  • Experience with time series databases a plus.

  • UI (HTML5 / Javascript) experience useful but not essential.

  • Proactive, collaborative, motivated.
