Full Job Description
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of Warwickshire young people, with responsibility for the assessment and review process and acting as the point of contact throughout. They will actively promote partnership working with families, children, young people, a range of educational establishments and professionals from education, health, social care and the voluntary sector.
- The new post holder will be an experienced EHC Plan Coordinator or have experience working in the area of SEND within a local authority or educational setting context.
- They will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, be able to work to statutory timescales, possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and have a willingness to work proactively with other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes within available time and financial resources.
- They can adapt to working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage conflicting priorities whilst prioritising communication and collaborative working., The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
