Full Job Description

This role is starting asap, working 36 hours a week in an ongoing contract., Bromley Council is seeking a dedicated EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) Coordinator to join our team on a temporary contract. You will play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring their EHCPs are managed efficiently and meet statutory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of young people in Bromley, working closely with professionals in health, education, and social care., Coordinate and manage the EHCP process, ensuring compliance with relevant statutory guidelines.
Liaise with families, schools, and other external agencies to gather input for EHCP assessments and reviews.
Maintain accurate records and update EHCP documentation in line with Bromley Council's policies.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for children and young people.
Ensure that all deadlines are met, and that children and young people's needs are at the forefront of planning and decision-making.
Key Requirements

Experience in a similar role, working within social care or education, specifically with SEND and EHCPs.
Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
An understanding of relevant statutory frameworks and processes.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
