Full Job Description

The Analyst independently gathers requirements, configures systems, develops documentation, and follows up with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are clear, correct, utilized, and well understood. They work collaboratively with staff, managers, and directors in the Medical Services and Primary Care Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) and other business areas, as applicable.

Specific Deliverables:

  • Works collaboratively with Medical Subject Matter Experts (SME), Administrative staff and Managers, to ensure standard protocols are documented and communicated.

  • Performs quality assurance testing on systems and datasets to ensure the accuracy and timely submission of reports and extracts.

  • Works collaboratively with IT to enhance automation of processes; establish data warehouse standards and definitions; and to identify new tools to facilitate standard querying and reporting.

  • Build effective alliances to ensure programme priorities are understood and reflect the needs of clinicians and patients.

    Must have experience practicing in a clinical role e.g. Registered Nurse, Doctor, AHP or Pharmacist.

  • Business/systems analysis experience or analytic/IT experience within healthcare setting.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of database and data structures as well as of general systems technology.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate at multiple levels of the organization.

  • Use and knowledge of different clinical IT systems.

  • Organizational skills, to work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information.

  • Demonstrates a broad knowledge of a business area and its stakeholders to identify and communicate how IT solutions can assist.
