Full Job Description
We have exciting opportunities for a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join our established, supportive Early Interventions in Psychosis Service. The Early Interventions Service provides care and treatment to 14 - 65 year olds who have experienced a first episode of psychosis. As a team, we strive to ensure that we deliver high quality, holistic, patient-centred care and that our staff are supported in their roles and encouraged to develop. We follow the EIS ethos of quality, multi-disciplinary input for service users and their carers / family members.
This role will require you to travel between community locations across Buckinghamshire, you must therefore be comfortable with driving for work purposes and able to travel freely within the hours of the role. Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required., We are looking for someone who works well in a team, but also has the ability to work independently using their own initiative. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of mental health, particularly psychosis and the impact this can have on an individual as well as their family, friends and carers. You will have an interest in psychosis and be able to manage a caseload. We are also looking for an individual with an interest in family work with a view to training to deliver Behavioural Family Therapy. We are also looking for an individual with an interest in service improvement projects and for whom inclusivity - for patients and staff - is important. We can offer you regular supervision, with Personal Development Reviews and ongoing professional development through a range of training (internal and external). You will also have the opportunity to develop others, for example through mentoring students.
