Full Job Description
- Dealing with a caseload of fast-track EL/PL cases.
- Dealing with stages 1 (Investigation), 2 (Negotiation) and 3 (Litigation) of the Claims Portal process.
- Liaising with client and third parties to process claims within the legislative timeframes.
- Gathering and submitting any medical evidence to support claims.
- Negotiation of most beneficial settlement where appropriate.
- Preparing claim evidence for Court proceedings.
- It would be desirable if you have experience using Proclaim., Note to Agencies: If external support is required on a vacancy, the role will be released by individual invite to specific agencies on our PSL. Any speculative candidates sent to Simpson Millar will be considered a gift and no fees will be applicable.
Ideally, you'll have at least 1 year's MOJ Portal experience and a strong billing record, but really, we're really looking for someone who is adaptable, can prioritise, is willing to participate in the development and success of the department (and wider firm), and is hard working and conscientious.
