Full Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious individual with excellent interpersonal skills for this interesting and busy role. As a member of the Elective Admissions Worthing Team, you will be the first point of contact for patients to the department and responsible for the administration of the theatre waiting list for designated specialty areas. You will be responsible for booking theatre procedures for our patients for designated specialty/specialties in line with clinical priority and waiting time targets.

- Excellent telephone manner - inbound and outbound patient telephone calls
- Computer competence
- strong customer care
- communication and team working skills are all required
- experience in a clinical administration role is desirable.
- Full/Part time role You will also need to be able to balance tact and assertiveness, combined with the ability to work calmly and patiently within a team, in a sometimes stressful environment. You will have experience of working in a high volume patient/customer focused role. Experience of working within the NHS is an advantage, including knowledge of PAS, however this is not essential and we welcome applications from candidates from outside of the NHS.
