Electrical Craft Team Member

Reporting to the shift engineer, you'll:

• Assist the engineering team in carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance
• Continuously maintain Health, Safety & Environmental standards, ensure safe working procedures are followed
• Provide first line technical expertise and knowledge to identify and rectify faults to minimise plant downtime
• Suggesting and implementing improvements to process control systems through collaboratively working with relevant peers
• Possess a high quality of work, ensuring any deficiencies found are repaired expediently and are robust enough to prevent recurrence
This position will operate on shift pattern working 12 hour Days and Nights, 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off.

We want to speak to people that can bring a problem solving approach to their work. You'll have completed an electrical apprenticeship, or possess a recognised electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or similar). The successful candidate will ideally have a background in heavy engineering manufacturing, as well as possessing excellent interpersonal skills. We'd also love to speak with individuals who have experience with:
• Industrial/domestic wiring
• Overhead Cranes & associated safety systems
• PLC's in the main Siemens & Allen Bradley including HMI's
• Expertise with AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems of various configurations
• Variable speed motor control with inverters and converters, including speed feedback devices
• Interpret electrical drawings
• Awareness of Safety related control systems
