Electrical Engineer

Working as part of a small team of experienced engineers, this role offers candidates the opportunity to grow their knowledge and experience, gaining the requisite depth of electronic technician operations to facilitate knowledge of warhead electrical systems so they can apply sound engineering principles to analyse these systems and develop their career with us.

• Do you have experience developing test equipment?
• Can you use Labview, Matlab or other programming language for test equipment automation and/or data analysis?
• Do you know about component testing and the importance of conformity or testing/calibration?
• Do you have knowledge or experience of reliability analysis?, A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or relevant working experience
• Knowledge or Experience of capacitor/dielectric/semiconductor manufacturing techniques/materials/processes

Due to the classified nature of the work involved, there are limited opportunities to work from home in this role. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will spend most of their time (~80%) working on site at AWE Aldermaston. Package: £37,860-£56,800 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience) Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight.
