Electrical Engineer - Chertsey, Surrey

We are currently recruiting for An Electrical Engineer at the home of thrilling rides, attractions, live events & a themed hotel; THORPE PARK Resort is the ultimate destination for thrill seekers, featuring some of the UK's most popular roller coasters and amusement park rides. Reporting into an Engineering Team Leader, as one of our Electrical Engineers you will keep our Rides and Attractions and PLC control equipment within the park, to a high standard of safety and efficiency. You will also fully participate in the execution and planning of the annual winter PPM and certification programme, including all associated record keeping as required by HSE guidance notes and statutory requirements., This is a full-time, permanent role, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required. Do you have experience of working as an Engineer or Technician?
Are you able to fault find using PLC's?
Are you looking for a new role and looking to join one of the world's largest leisure & entertainments providers?,

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline


• Thorough understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)


• Ability to read and use engineering drawings


• Strong diagnostic skills


• Knowledge of AC/DC drives and their associated motors or pumps, including inverters


• Experience of fault finding and use of programmable logic controls (PLC's) such as; Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi.


• Experience of working within a heavy industrial/automated environment such as; FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, Airport or Theme Park
