L3Harris in Portchester are the maritime industry's autonomy partner of choice, we are powering the Royal Navy's adoption of autonomous surface vehicle technology as well as delivering autonomous capability to UK ports, harbours and offshore energy service providers. We have delivered more than 100 autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) systems. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead and develop our exceptional teams across multiple UK sites. In this role you'll not only oversee the delivery of complex electrical engineering systems but also focus on creating a culture where your teams thrive. Your leadership will help shape solutions that underpin the UK's maritime capabilities. You'll bring out the best in your people, inspiring them to overcome challenges and deliver engineering excellence in a fast-moving and dynamic environment. following: - Inspiring Leadership: Lead and manage electrical engineering teams across multiple UK sites, creating an inclusive, engaging and high-performance culture. - Empowering Talent: Mentor, coach and develop individuals, enabling them to reach their full potential while building future leaders within the business. - Driving Delivery: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. - Strategic Workforce Planning: Plan and manage resource effectively to meet current and future projects demands, ensuring your teams are equipped to excel. - Championing Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to explore new technologies and solutions.

Equivalent of Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience working on complex engineering projects. - Proven experience in leading and managing electrical engineering teams, ideally in defense, maritime or similarly complex domains. - A people first leader with a passion for empowering individuals and teams to achieve their potential. - Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering, including power systems, control systems, and electronic components. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders. - Experience with delivering electrical systems in safety-critical or high-reliability environments is highly desirable.
