Full Job Description

  • Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical team, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and new installations.
  • Direct supervision of the day work, shift technicians and contractors.
  • Review work order progress according to time and required standards.
  • Contribute to electrical design planning & updates of site electrical drawings.
  • Provide progress reports to the work order planning and scheduling team.
  • Coordination with production and other departments.
  • Supporting and overseeing the sites electrical & instrumentation compliance.
  • Coaching of Electrical Apprentices.
  • Identifying and ensuring the site has adequate spares for electrical infrastructure.
  • Deputise for the Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent, specifically relating to;
  • + HV operation/isolation + Permit writing + Work order scheduling and management,

    City & Guilds/NC/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Certified for HV operation and isolation.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Must be physically and mentally fit to carry out all required expected duties associate with job: i.e. use of stairs, working at height, confined space entry, and manual handling requirements.
