Full Job Description

  • Good sound electrical knowledge, surge protection installation methods.
  • Extensive knowledge of single and three-phase installations.
  • To carry out electrical installations on variety types of LV installations.
  • To assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
  • To liaise with the Operations Supervisor for planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting procedures.
  • To work to recognised industry standards at all times.
  • To maintain records of all work, and that required paperwork is completed and sent in within the defined timescales.
  • To participate in flexible working hours which may require occasionally staying away from home, weekend work, and travel may be required away from your home area.
  • To undertake training as required to perform the duties of the role, including health and safety courses and further trade development to maintain current knowledge and professional qualifications (Continued Professional Development).
  • Ability to act on own initiative.


  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Remedial Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation work in various commercial and industrial settings., A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
  • NVQ Level 3
  • 18th Edition
  • In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
