Full Job Description
- Good sound electrical knowledge, surge protection installation methods.
- Extensive knowledge of single and three-phase installations.
- To carry out electrical installations on variety types of LV installations.
- To assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
- To liaise with the Operations Supervisor for planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting procedures.
- To work to recognised industry standards at all times.
- To maintain records of all work, and that required paperwork is completed and sent in within the defined timescales.
- To participate in flexible working hours which may require occasionally staying away from home, weekend work, and travel may be required away from your home area.
- To undertake training as required to perform the duties of the role, including health and safety courses and further trade development to maintain current knowledge and professional qualifications (Continued Professional Development).
- Ability to act on own initiative.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Remedial Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation work in various commercial and industrial settings., A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
- NVQ Level 3
- 18th Edition
- In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
