Full Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team on a permanent contract for a range of commercial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, managing teams of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Supervise and manage a team of electricians on various commercial construction sites.
+ Ensure the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems and components.
+ Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in installations.
+ Monitor and enforce safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
+ Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
+ Conduct site inspections, quality control, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
+ Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior electrical staff.
+ Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination to meet deadlines.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that may arise during installation or maintenance.
+ Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used for reporting and cost tracking purposes.
o Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, ideally with experience in commercial construction projects.
o Gold ECS Card
o SSSTS / SMSTS
o Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
o Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and installation practices.
o Excellent leadership and team management skills.
o In-depth knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., 18th Edition).
o Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and plans.
o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
o Full UK driving license (or equivalent).
