Full Job Description

In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the campus.
Your work will ensure the smooth operations of maintenance, minimising disruption to the student experience.
Performing electrical maintenance and minor repairs, as well as supporting the broader facilities team when needed.
Investigating electrical issues, performing repairs, or coordinating with external contractors to ensure timely resolutions.
Promoting a strong Health & Safety culture and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of electrical work and liaising with the administration team to ensure the buildings and services meet compliance.
Communicating with staff to minimise disruption during maintenance tasks.

We are looking for a skilled tradesperson or technical professional with an Electrical background who can take on the responsibility of maintaining and repairing electrical systems across campus.
Hold a relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering and possess hands-on experience with electrical maintenance and repairs.
Be competent using hand and power tools, as well as electrical test equipment, to carry out general electrical tasks.
Be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with your team and provide a high-quality maintenance service that enhances the customer experience.
Be proactive, with a 'can do' attitude and able to work autonomously or a spart of a small team within the Maintenance division.
Have strong problem-solving skills, quick to adapt in a customer-facing environment, and flexible to meet the evolving needs of a growing campus.
Maintain a high level of accuracy when completing job details, identifying materials for orders, and updating work progress on your PDA.
Hold a full UK driving licence.
