Electrician

The Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical work related to maintenance and repair, troubleshooting, and providing electrical engineering support. The successful candidate will be expected to perform daily duties as assigned by supervisors and complete all tasks with precision and excellence.

The successful candidate will be working on commercial sites on various different maintenance contracts. You will be required to work both alone under your own initiative and /or within a team on contracts that could include but not be limited to Hospitals, Public Houses, Schools, Restaurants, Hotels, Banks, Court houses etc.,

• Skills in Electrical Work including Inspection, installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of electrical systems
• Skills in Maintenance & Repair including knowledge and practical application of electrical regulations and safety guidelines
• Troubleshooting and fault finding skills for identifying and correcting electrical issues using various instruments, tools, and methods
• Ability to handle physically demanding work and work at heights
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Completed an electrical apprenticeship.
• Technical certification Level 2 and level 3 in electrical installation or Equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
• City and Guilds 2392 would be advantageous but not necessary.
• PASMA and IPAF would be advantageous but not necessary.
• JIB card holder/ ECS
• Health and Safety Qualification e.g. ISOSH, SSSTS or SMSTS
• Must have knowledge of I.T Skills due to admin tasks that must be fulfilled weekly.

  Hours: Full Time Position, 40hrs Per week Monday - Friday, Some Weekend Work may be required and Out of Hours Work
• Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 (dependant on qualifications and experience)
+ Expenses + Bonus + Company Van & fuel Card
• Must have a Full Driving Licence
