Full Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Craftsperson to work within our Estates Services team You will be required to undertake reactive & planned maintenance and installation work across site, maintain high technical standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements by action and advice as necessary. Experienced in all types of building maintenance, you will have proven knowledge of health and safety, good communication skills and remain calm under pressure. As part ofthe Estates team you will also be required to participate in an on-call rota outside normal working hours, additional payments will be made for this., We're currently looking for an individual who has enthusiasm and keen to develop a career as an Electrical Engineer within our Estates Department at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, Derby. You'll need to have knowledge of Estates, maintenance procedures and priorities along with excellent communications skills, bags of enthusiasm and initiative. Experience is advantageous but necessarily, we are interested in your skills set and personality that you can bring to the role and we'll provide the foundations and training for a successful career. You will be part of the team who are responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive electrical maintenance and installation service across the Trust's estates, which provides a responsive, efficient, financially effective service. You will be expected to provide a flexible and efficient repair and maintenance service over a wide range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment in a wide range of locations and conditions.
