Electrician (Housing)

As a focused Electrician, we will look to you to carry out electrical PPM (pre-planned maintenance), reactive repairs, remedial works, small installations, testing of existing installations, fault finding, diagnostic work, and completion of relevant electrical certificates About you:

• Electrical installation, testing, repair and fault finding
• Other trade skills
• Ability to make decisions as to the most cost effective medium - long term repair solution in the majority of situations
What you will do: 1. As directed and appointed, attend properties where repair issues have been reported or identified, consider what is necessary and proportionate in the circumstances, determine the appropriate remedial works necessary, complete as required and convey this information to the coordinating team. 2. Testing, inspecting and certification of a considerable number of council houses in accordance with BS7671 18th Edition and to updated amendment.
