Full Job Description

  • Responsible for covering clients who are trading electronically on listed derivatives products (including, but not limited to, LME products). Clients include banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutionals, trading houses and other trading boutiques
  • Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining of existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients.
  • Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks.
  • Collaboration with central operations functions which support the trading role including but not limited to Operations and Technology.
  • Strategising to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the FCA
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
  • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
  • At all times complying with the FCA's Code of Conduct and / or any other relevant regulatory body's conduct policy
  • Carrying out regulatory activities under the appropriate trading books
  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders globally
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
  • To escalate risk events immediately
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required

    An experienced, ambitious, and proactive individual, responsible for covering clients who are executing electronically with the firm. Junior level position with the ability to work independently under supervision and as part of a team, and directly engage with clients. Commercial ability to maintain good relationships with clients., Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong Excel skills. Coding (e.g. Python) skills are a bonus but not required
  • Knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in and knowledge of listed derivatives
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Experience of the infrastructural support required to efficiently support Metals business lines
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this, Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
