Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our specialist Electronics team within Radiotherapy Technology Services (RTS) at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a Clinical Technologist, you will support our clinical service by ensuring the safe and effective repair and maintenance on a range of radiotherapy equipment, including Elekta VersaHD linacs, Philips CT and MR Simulators., Diagnose, maintain, and repair radiotherapy pre-treatment and treatment delivery systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement innovative radiotherapy solutions.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records of medical equipment maintenance and fault resolution.
- Train and mentor medical engineering apprentices and trainees.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Healthcare Science, or Clinical Technology (Engineering).
- Professional registration as a Clinical Technologist or equivalent, open to unregistered applicants at a lower grade.
- Experience in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex equipment, ideally medical.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
