Create the future of our software products You will be supporting projects in multiple industries, however this role has a focus on the aerospace domain. You will play an integral part, ensuring products are the leading edge of technology for our customers. As an Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing software to the quality standards required for the project.
- Performing low level and integration testing as required by quality standards.
- Documenting as required by quality standards.
- Participating in code reviews etc.
- Being accountable for continuous improvements to processes to deliver quality robust solutions.
- Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to identify product improvements.
Be proficient in embedded software development using C forâ especially bare metal and low-level drivers. - Have experience in working in aerospace domain complying to DO178-B/C standard and within an AS9100 SMS.
- Have experience in writing software to DAL-A standards, test methodologies and tools employed for software testing and qualification for DAL-A.
- Have experience in writing highly optimized code for resource constrained hardware.
- Have good hardware knowledge.
- Have good problem-solving abilities and is a self-starter.
- Need a valid British passport or already have the right to work in the UK.
