Full Job Description

We are currently looking for an EMC Applications Engineer working directly with an automotive OEM ensuring robust EMC delivery of their vehicle programmes., As part of the programme delivery team, you will:

  • Review and writing of EMC documentation (test plans, test reports, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal EMC Team customers (EE Design, Power Design, Homologation) and manage all project touch points.
  • Report on status and schedule to Project and Program stakeholders.
  • Manage vehicle EMC chamber bookings.
  • Ensure vehicle programmes are managed and robustly signed off against OEM and international standards for EMC

You must have great organisational skills, be smart, reliable, and flexible. Can work under your own initiative as well as part of a team and to tight deadlines.   • Professional attitude with a strong customer focus.
  • 2+ years of experience on complex-vehicles system projects.
  • Previous experience as an engineer in an automotive environment, working closely with other engineering disciplines and teams.
  • Metrics tracking and reporting for a hardware project.
  • Ability to identify blockers/bottlenecks and develop remediation/recovery plans.
  • Ability to triage new work and adjust to rapidly shifting program priorities.
  • UNECE Reg 10 or similar requirement understanding.
