Full Job Description
- Develop and update company-specific and industry financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
- Work with our PharmaValues database to analyze trends including R&D productivity, pipeline replacement power and company valuation
- Perform financial and valuation analysis of covered companies
- Assist in investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
- Assist in the authoring of company-specific and industry research reports
- Monitor investor news and data collection, You'll be working in the European Pharmaceutical equity research team in London. The team covers 18+ European Biopharmaceutical stocks. The initial role would be to support the team in the investment insights, with the aim to develop into a covering analyst over a period of time. You'll play an important role in trying to make the team the top ranked team in the sector.
Strong understanding of biological sciences with a keen interest in financial markets. A PhD is not required. - Have strong communication skills
- Inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong excel skills.
- The team works with a number of large datasets so experience of data manipulation within Excel is an advantage.
