Full Job Description

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Primary responsibility for developing, defining, communicating and executing supply chain strategies and capabilities.
  • Lead multi-functional teams to support supply chain objectives based on business plans.
  • Coordinate supply, manufacturing and delivery systems to ensure the optimization of customer service, cost, inventories, quality, cycle time and delivery.
  • Develop the logistics and distribution strategy to ensure customer needs are met within cost and working capital standards.
  • Establishment and management of supply chain / logistics management policies and procedures.
  • Accountability for the Sales and Operations Planning process (SiOP) and the effective management of the master production planning and scheduling process.
  • Oversight of supply planning and ensuring demand is met.
  • Implement robust, best practices through active participation in the SIOP process.

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Management, Logistics Management, Materials Management, Engineering or related technical field.
  • APICS (CSCP) certification is highly beneficial.
  • A relevant level of leadership experience within Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics within a vertically integrated or similarly complex manufacturing environment and/or continuous process environment. Operations Management experience is strongly desired.
  • Strong people & organisational skills with proven ability to influence across a matrix organization. Able to handle multiple, competing priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in 1-to-1 situations and group settings including presentation skills will be required.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Proven implementation of successful continuous improvement disciplines across multiple manufacturing sites. Lean and Six Sigma experience strongly preferred.
  • A strong analytical thinker, capable of solving complex data driven problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve desired outcomes and drive for valuable results.
  • Willing and able to travel according to business needs, primarily within Europe, with occasional global travel requirements.
