Account Executives / Senior Account Executives at EMERGE are bright, enthusiastic and process driven. With a genuine passion for brand communications, AEs/SAEs are fast paced, quick thinking and use their initiative in order to achieve exceptional results. The right candidate will be organised, self-determined, agile and creative. An established understanding of the public relations industry is required with an acute awareness of how to build relationships with editors, influencers, KOLs and industry networks. AEs/SAEs at EMERGE are self-starters, but a true team player, and are able to prioritise and move between multiple projects and tasks with ease. As an integral part of the account team you will be expected to confidently execute day-today press office duties, proactively pitching story ideas to achieve editorial placements, staying on track with KPIs and ensuring administrative tasks are completed in line with set deadlines. Client Focus:

  • KPI driven and achieving press office targets set by AM/SAMs
  • Ability to write engaging press releases and pitches for media
  • Ability to create pro-active media hijacking angles and trend stories
  • Understanding of the media landscape across long lead, short lead, broadcast, print and digital publications
  • Proactively seeking new contacts, building and maintaining strong relationships with editors, influencers and talent agents to strengthen client delivery
  • Develop, write and edit PR materials and secure client sign-off as appropriate
  • Bring innovative and new ideas to the table with regard to events, mailings and activations that will support the client's objectives
  • Cast relevant talents and influencers for paid and organic activations
  • Support Account Managers on communication with all clients, building rapport and credibility based on trust and expert counsel
  • Monitoring all media, print, digital and social channels for brand coverage and competitor activity, scanning relevant articles for distribution around the team
  • Handle product and image call-ins, and compile and manage all mass mail outs logistics supported by the junior members of the team
  • Compiling reports, coverage presentations and maintaining PR trackers for clients
  • Supporting the team with key launches and events
  • Supporting with strategy creation and development for clients

    Relevant Experience:
  • 2+ years of PR experience, ideally within an agency scope
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple accounts and meeting deadlines
  • Hardworking and dependable member of the internal team
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Well organised and methodical approach to daily tasks
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present during client calls and meetings
  • Well versed with computer software including; Googlemail, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Canva
