Emergency & Acute Medicine Patient Flow Co-ordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Flow Co-ordinator for the Emergency & Acute Medicine Directorate.
The post holder will form part of the multi-disciplinary team working alongside the Senior Controller in the Emergency & Acute Medicine Directorate, working closely with all disciplines to ensure that patient flow through the department is efficient, effective and complies with the Welsh Government Measures and Internal Professional Standards., The primary role of the Patient Flow Co-ordinator is to monitor the performance and patient flow within the Emergency and Acute Medicine Directorate.
The post holder will work alongside the Nurse In Charge of the Emergency Department and Senior Controller ensuring patient flow is established and maintained and will have an overview of all the relevant areas. They will be responsible for reporting performance at the safety huddles in line with the Internal Professional Standards. The role is crucial to the effective management of patient flow within the Emergency Department and the Assessment Units with a specific focus on the Welsh Government Performance Measures.
