We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for you to become a vital part of our team as an Emergency Clinical Practitioner at the East Area Urgent Care units, including the Lewes Urgent Treatment Centre and the Minor Injury Units in Uckfield and Crowborough. You will be responsible for the direct provision of care to patients at the Urgent Treatment Centre & Minor Injuries Units. Responsibilities encompass evaluating, requesting, and interpreting diagnostic radiographs, providing diagnoses, treatment, patient discharge, or referrals to other specialists. Dedication to upholding superior care standards is paramount. Leadership involves participating in and conducting nursing and clinical audits within the Unit, compiling and arranging essential data. Implementing local standards, policies, and procedures is crucial to ensure patient-focused, personalized, and evidence-based care for all individuals. Compliance with the professional code of conduct is mandatory. Advocacy for evidence-based, innovative care practices and aiding others in adopting modifications to improve care delivery is also a key aspect of the role.
