Full Job Description

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust have opportunities available for experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioners to support our existing ENP team. Specialising in minor injuries and illness successful applicants will join our Emergency Department at Warwick Hospital. This is a great opportunity to join an Emergency Department which is regularly recognised nationally for our high performance and innovative practice to successfully reduce patient waiting times., The post holder will be a nurse with advanced clinical skills and an expert knowledge base, providing a high standard of holistic care in the field of minor injuries and minor illness.

The post holder will prioritise care needs and work autonomously within agreed protocols managing their own case load, promoting the use of evidence based practice to ensure the delivery of high quality, efficient care.

The post holder will provide specialist advice and management plans for patients with complex care needs, and will provide specialist advice to other members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

The post holder will promote collaborative working relationships to facilitate the rapid delivery of seamless care.

The post holder will work towards the development of the service in collaboration with the ENP Team, ED Head of Nursing, General Manager, clinicians and other service users, assisting the ENP Team with any other duties in support of the ENP role and function

We are looking for an enthusiastic ENP with advanced clinical skills and a commitment to the continuous development and improvement of this service. You will be expected to drive, deliver and develop best practice always motivated by the aim for excellent care for all. Applicants need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively, as an autonomous practitioner and as part of the team, ensuring the delivery of a consistently high standard of care to meet patient needs and Trust objectives.
