An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small but dynamic Emergency Planning Team where we have a vacancy for an Emergency Planning Officer. Are you a good communicator, well organised, good at multi tasking?

We are a small friendly team, that are integrated into all areas and levels of the Trust by the nature of the role.

EPRR, are based within Trust HQ, however due the role there are often visits to our premises across Dorset's beautiful countryside.

You will be part of the team ensuring that we plan, prepare, respond and recover, meeting our Emergency Planning and Business Continuity requirements, providing support and specialist advice.

You will report direct to the Head of Emergency Planning and build effective professional relationships internally and externally

Main duties of the job

To support the Head of EPRR in carrying out the Trust's Business Continuity, Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Activities and functions, providing specialist advice, training and exercising.

Support the review and update of Business Continuity and EPRR plans, procedures and On-Call documents. Taking the lead on monthly checks of related resources and documents.

In the absence of the Head of EPRR, to deputise and provide advice, guidance, information and support to the Trust at all levels and attend EPRR related meetings and events.
