Emergency Surgical Nurse Practitioner (ESNP)

Owing to the imminent retirement of the current post holder, we are looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner, with specialty specific skills and knowledge, to jointly lead and develop both our small team of Emergency Surgical Nurse Practitioners and our acute Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Service., This is an established role, recognized and valued by all members of the CBU, patients and their families. It embodies the definition of advanced practice, empowering the post holder to implement innovative solutions to enhance people's experience and improve outcomes.

In addition to being an active non-medical prescriber and holding a Masters (or equivalent) in Advanced Clinical Practice, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the clinical utilization and synthesis of Advanced skills across the 4 pillars of practice enabling safe, independent, clinical decision-making essential for the continuation of our practitioner led service.
