Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint a Band 5 Employee Relations Advisor.

The post holder will be responsible to the Senior Employee Relations Advisor for the provision of a professional high quality, comprehensive Employee Relations Services to specific care groups.

Key areas of activity will include assisting, advising and supporting managers in relation to sickness management, however involvement in other employee relations (ER) issues will certainly be required. This role may involve working between all sites of King's College Hospital., The successful candidate will primarily provide support to line managers on the management and reduction of sickness absence. The post holder will be required to provide advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of the Trust's sickness absence procedures and to ensure that these procedures are adhered to.

Additionally, the post holder will be required to undertake any other duties such as other non-complex ER activities and project work to ensure a first class ER service is delivered.

The post holder will need to work autonomously with minimum supervision and using their initiative to successfully deliver their work to an excellent standard.
