Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused, practical and hands-on ER Advisor to support with ER cases across our Haven Parks and support Centre. There is a large ER training agenda, this role will be responsible for shaping and creating the training, supporting the People Partners to deliver it. This is a redefined role with a new remit so it is a fantastic opportunity for you if you want to make an impact and make the role your own!
Your Opportunity:
You will be responsible for providing support for leaders on ER as well as evolving the knowledge and skills of our leaders in ER. In a bit more detail this will mean:
- Answering calls from leaders when they are experiencing situations with their team and need ER your expertise.
Cases will mainly be in relation to performance management absence, disciplinary and grievance.
- Working with People Partners to provide a consistency in ER approach
- Designing ER training and working with the People Partners to ensure consistent delivery
- Working closely with the Learning & Development team to devise and support delivery of appropriate training and training materials on all ER matters to line managers
- Supporting dispute resolution, including Liaising directly with ACAS Conciliators and working with our solicitors in preparation and risk management of Employment Tribunals, Our people and the teams they form are the backbone of a professional experience with us. In this role, you can expect to travel throughout the UK, including visits to our sites, our support centre in Hemel Hempstead and any off-site meetings with partners or suppliers.

What can you expect during the recruitment process?

Awareness of the main ER People Policies (Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance, and Attendance) required within a business and their implications
- Confidence and ability to deliver engaging ER training when required to a wide range of stakeholders
- Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Legislation, Case Law, and be able to advise the business
- Experience managing a wide range of ER cases
- Appreciation and understanding of diversity and inclusion
