Working as an ER Specialist at LPCH means you will play a key role in delivering legally compliant employee relations service, enabling managers to maintain positive and productive relationships with colleagues. This is a great opportunity to join our amazing Employee relations team and make a significant impact on our workplace culture. Your expertise will help mitigate conflict and provide advice to colleagues in every aspect of the business.

ER Guidance and Policy Advice: Offer legally compliant ER guidance to managers and colleagues, ensuring impartiality and effective business solutions. Maintain a central case management system to triage queries and provide timely, accurate advice.

Policy Ownership and Maintenance: Develop, review, and update LPCH-specific ER policies and procedures, ensuring they are legally compliant, reflect our brand, and are accessible to all colleagues. Partner with stakeholders to create user-friendly guides.

Support for HRBPs: Assist HR Business Partners with people change projects, ensuring all employee relations considerations are addressed. Conduct impact assessments and support risk mitigation to avoid ER challenges.

Upskilling Managers: Create and improve learning materials to enhance manager capabilities in applying policies and procedures. Provide business insights on training impact and reasons for ER case fluctuations.

External Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external HR and legal suppliers to support complex ER issues. Lead the preparation of legal documents and evidence, ensuring compliance and minimising legal costs.

  • Experience handling high volume and a variety of ER cases

  • Up to date knowledge with Employment Law

  • Ability to build rapport and effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Self-driven, organised, and capable of challenging upwards.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to consider the bigger picture.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • CIPD Level 5 is desirable but not essential
