Full Job Description

Our Employee Relations team is the first point of contact for resolving employee relations issues, combining employment law expertise with strong business knowledge. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders in the retail sector, playing a key role in delivering effective solutions. You'll handle complex employee relations matters, investigating cases and providing hands-on support.

Additionally, you will guide internal partners across our HR functions including Resourcing, Learning & Development, Reward, and Talent Development. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records through our case management system and ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.

Within this role, you will also:

Offer feedback and coaching to managers during formal meetings and processes.
Support business change initiatives by calculating the people cost, monitoring progress, and assisting with communications.
Stay up to date on UK employment law, ensuring best practices are followed.
Liaise with the legal team when necessary for case advice or tribunal preparation.

This role operates Monday to Friday, with two days per week on-site (either in Hammersmith or Knightsbridge), including Wednesdays as a team day in Hammersmith.

You will bring solid experience as an Employee Relations Specialist, ideally within large organisations, where you've successfully led complex cases from start to finish. Your expertise in employment law will allow you to confidently guide senior leaders through sensitive employee relations issues, offering practical solutions and strategic insights.

You will also:

Be a fair, values-driven individual who considers both the business and employees.
Have relevant HR qualifications and experience working in a large team.
Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills.
