Full Job Description

At Get Set UK, we understand the exceptional skills you've honed in the hospitality industry - managing staff, delivering impeccable service, and creating unforgettable experiences. Now, transfer those abilities to a role where you'll be helping others find their own career success. As an Employment Advisor, your leadership, mentoring, and client-focused mindset will help guide individuals into sustainable employment. "I would say, if you have the feeling that you want to wake up and go and do something where you can make changes, have an impact and see your results happen in real time as a result of your work then choose this Industry." Get Set Employment Advisor who moved from your industry to ours. Your impact:

  • Client Support: Instead of ensuring seamless guest experiences, you'll provide personalised advice and support to clients, helping them develop job-ready skills and secure employment.
  • Caseload Management: Just as you managed hotel or restaurant teams, here you'll manage a caseload of clients, offering them tailored guidance on their journey to work.
  • Job Matching: Use your recruitment experience from hospitality to match clients with suitable roles, and support them in job applications and interview preparation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with employers, training providers, and other partners-just like you built relationships with suppliers and customers in hospitality.
  • Workshops & Training: Lead workshops that prepare clients for the job market, similar to how you trained your hospitality teams to deliver top-tier service.
  • In-Work Support: Provide ongoing mentorship to clients even after they've secured roles, ensuring they thrive in their new jobs, just as you ensured smooth day-to-day operations.

Empathetic & Supportive: Your ability to deliver high-quality, personalised service in hospitality translates to supporting individuals facing challenges on their employment journey.
  • Organised & Detail-Oriented: Your experience managing bookings, schedules, and teams in hospitality means you're ready to efficiently handle client cases and administrative tasks.
  • Strong Communicator: Whether advising guests or coaching your team, your communication skills will help you build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Proactive & Motivated: Just as you've thrived in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, you'll drive success by securing interviews and creating opportunities for clients.
  • Team Player: Your experience collaborating with hospitality teams makes you the perfect fit for our supportive, client-focused environment.
  • You share our values:
  • Be Ambitious: You show determination and innovation in your approach.
  • Be Inspiring: You inspire responsibility through your daily actions.
  • Be Proud: You take pride in your daily achievements and want to support your local community.
  • Be Considerate: You collaborate well in an inclusive environment.
  • Own It: You own your attitude, motivation, and actions.

We're here to support you as much as you support our clients. Our mission is clear: to empower, ignite opportunities, support resilience, and nurture career success for everyone.
  • Our workplace is dynamic, committed, encouraging, and empathetic. We believe in creating an environment that is not just about professional growth but also personal wellbeing. As part of the Get Set UK team, you'll enjoy:
  • Competitive salaries that appreciate your hard work and dedication.
  • Comprehensive pension schemes designed for your future security.
  • Healthcare packages that prioritise your wellbeing.
  • Gym memberships to support your physical health and mental clarity.
  • An inclusive employee forum where your voice is heard and valued.
  • Continuous training and development opportunities to help you grow and succeed.
  • As an Employment Advisor at Get Set UK, you'll start with a salary of £28500 (£26,500 - £27k outside London), which will increase to £30k (£27,500 outside London) after successfully passing your probation. Within a year, your salary could rise to £31,500 - £40k (£29k - £32k outside London), and the role opens doors to further opportunities within the company. From there, you could advance to Team Leader with a salary of £34,500 - £37k (£32k - £34k outside London), or transition to roles like Skills & Employability Tutor at £31,500 - £34k (£26,500 - £29K outside London). With dedication and progression, you could eventually step into a Business Manager role, earning £38k - £43,500 (£35k - £38k outside London). The potential for growth within our expanding company and industry is limitless.
