Full Job Description

We are one of the leading employment law teams in the East Midlands. We advise businesses, not-for-profit organisations and individuals on a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues, including recruitment, contracts and policies, discrimination, TUPE and Employment Tribunal claims.

We have an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with around 3-5 years' PQE to join the team. Working in an experienced and supportive team of partners and associates, the successful candidate will have experience of advising on a wide range of employment law matters, possess excellent client care skills and be a confident team player. Supervisory experience of team members would be advantageous.

They will be enthusiastic about business development and keen to attend networking and marketing events. The role will also include leading employment law seminars, providing case law updates and facilitating group discussions and debates. Therefore, experience of presenting would also be advantageous.

Ideal candidates will be technically strong with an eye for detail and able to communicate effectively. They will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude towards challenges and change, as well as a willingness to embrace Nelsons' vision and values., With a defined vision and growth plan on track, we have created a culture of working together to achieve and are looking to recruit people who have a can-do attitude to be part of our journey and vision.
