Full Job Description

Supporting clients within their own home to regain full or partial independence will be the focus of our dedicated Enablement Support Workers.
You don't need to have previous experience of care work or qualifications as we offer structured training to ensure our care workers receive what they need to flourish and progress in their social care careers!
What are we looking for?
Are you someone with a caring personality and a desire to care for others? Do you have the ambition and drive to work positively with people, promoting choice and control to encourage their independence in personal care, mobility, medication, making meals, whilst working to their goal focussed personal service plan? If the answer is "yes" then we are keen to hear from you.
What will you be doing?
Working in care can be challenging at times, but extremely rewarding, and you will be working as part of a multi-professional team to provide wrap around support to enable people to live as independently as possible in their own home.
You will be working towards a therapeutic goal focussed care plan that is aimed at promoting independence and you will have access to support through the new structure. You will work closely with other colleagues and have regular access to your Senior Enablement Support Worker for "on the job" queries and support and from your Enablement Support Lead for supervision, professional development and access to training.
A robust and attainable career pathway has been built into the new structure so there will be opportunities to work your way through the structure to more senior positions.
We're keen to hear from you if you:
+ Enjoy a challenge
+ Understand what it means to treat people with dignity and respect
+ Can place a person at the centre of their care
+ Can be creative and are forward thinking
+ Have a driving licence and a vehicle that you are able to use for work
What we offer.
+ Competitive rates of pay
+ Generous local government pension
+ Genuine career development opportunity
+ Wellbeing support
+ PPE and workwear
+ Robust Training Programme
+ Shadowing team colleagues

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.
Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
