Full Job Description

We're looking to hire an End User Computing Engineer, who will be responsible for supporting all end user computing within Lenvi, including Microsoft M365 services, laptop builds and end user security tools on a day-to-day basis.   This role will see you configuring and managing end user computing platforms (Microsoft M365 / Azure Entra ID technologies) and working directly with end users. The role will primarily be based in our Leeds Office with some remote working and visits to other Lenvi offices.    You will also be willing to work flexibly outside of normal working hours when required .   What You will be doing

  • Build ing / deploy ing new Lenvi laptops using M365 / Microsoft cloud technologies  
  • Tak ing ownership of assigned tickets through the IT service desk, ensuring timely resolution and escalating when necessary.  
  • Maintain ing a knowledge base of software and hardware issues encountered .  
  • Administer ing and maintain ing end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.  
  • Support ing the on-boarding and off-boarding process for staff, including the creation of user accounts and coordination with managers on account permissions and folder access.  
  • Provid ing day to day management and support for Lenvi end users within the Lenvi M365 tenant, including both L1 / L2 support to the Lenvi IT Service Desk team.
  • Support ing the wider Lenvi Platform Engineering and Security team in the management and operation of other hosted Lenvi SaaS platforms, across public cloud, private cloud and managed hosting platforms.   
  • Supporting projects and initiatives by enabling staff to work effectively and delivering end user computing tasks  
  • Working collaboratively across the Lenvi Platform Engineering & Security , IT and Business Teams to ensure end user needs and expectations are understood, met and managed.   
  • Whilst core hours are Monday to Friday 9:00-5:30, must also be willing to work flexibly to support some out of hours activities  

    Experience in a End User Computing 2nd-line support role.  
  • Experience and understanding of Corporate Laptop Builds / Support using M365 and Microsoft cloud technologies.
  • Good technical experience and understanding of Windows 10, Windows 11, Google Chrome, Android and Apple operating systems.  
  • Technical experience and understanding of configuring device and user polices and controls within M365 cloud solutions.  
  • Technical experience of Azure Entra ID.  
  • Technical experience and understanding of Microsoft Messaging and Collaboration tools.
  • Experience configuring and running automated infrastructure management and configuration tools, such as Windows PowerShell.  
  • Experience of working with 3rd party service providers to manage IT service solutions.  
  • Good knowledge of information security practices within the financial services IT industry.  
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Service Management Principles  
  •   The following would also be beneficial:  
  • Working with contact centre solutions, especially cloud platforms such as Five9  
  • Security Management and Monitoring Platforms - including AV/Anti-Malware (Microsoft Defender for Office 365), Azure Encryption, Azure Key Vault,   
  • CATO Networks or other networking / SD-WAN solutions  
  • M onitoring and alerting platforms - such as New Relic, Azure Monitor, OpsGenie , Pager Duty  
  • Vendor Certifications - e.g. Microsoft Azure certifications, Microsoft MCSA / MCSE, Other vendor approved / certified training courses  
  •     Skills and Attributes   
  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with an interest in developing your IT knowledge further by working as part of a small team to deliver excellent support for the Lenvi business.  
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively to deliver objectives and find answers to problems.  
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, managing a busy workload in a frequently changing environment.
  • Ability to convey technical ideas and projects to technical and non-technical stakeholders.  
  • Capable of guiding technical colleagues, documenting solutions, and fixes effectively.
