Full Job Description

We are looking for an exceptionally technically skilled, highly focussed, customer centred End User Computing Technical Specialist to be an integral member of our End User Computing Team within the Digital and Data department.
You will act as the Technical Specialist for End User Computing, working in conjunction with leads and managers within the technology sections, along with a varied list of internal and external stakeholders to deliver a modern, forward thinking, secure and robust End User Computing service within TEWV.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role., To act as the Trust's Technical Specialist for End User Computing (EUC), providing a high and robust level of expertise, guidance and support. You will develop existing technologies, identify and implementing future technologies to support the business. You with be responsible for the line management of EUC Technical Leads as well as deputising for the EUC Manager as required.
To provide expert advice in EUC, and guidance across a range of technology areas.
To provide specialist system support and expertise to maintain and develop comprehensive systems to deploy, monitor and patch EUC related technologies within the Trust.
To utilise in-depth technical knowledge of EUC technologies and demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of server technologies, both on prem and in cloud, with a detailed understanding of networking principles and cyber security considerations.
To act as the technical expert consultant for highly complex technical technology projects that impact technical and clinical environments, including the delivery of new systems, infrastructures and services that require EUC expertise.
Operate under a high level of autonomy within speciality.
To lead in the production of accurate, highly technical documentation, implementation of new technologies, and road mapping of EUC strategies and developments for the Trust.
To assist and deputise, where appropriate, for the EUC Manager across a range of information and technical service issues., TEWV encourages and supports all staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID19.

· Current and significant experience of working within a technology team specialising in the management, redesign and implementation of EUC Computing Technologies.
· Recent, experience of staff management.
· Recent and significant experience of the management of change through a robust change control process.
