Full Job Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for the client's office buildings and data centers
  • Ensure compliance with UK electrical standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of electrical installations
  • Develop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules
  • Manage electrical upgrade projects and renovations
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate electrical systems with building management systems
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical issues
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for installations and repairs
  • Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability goals
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in financial or commercial environments
  • Professional registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng)
  • In-depth knowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards (BS 7671)
  • Experience with high-voltage systems, UPS, and emergency power systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Experience with smart building technologies and energy management systems is a plus
