Full Job Description

  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, implementing and maintaining the infrastructure and support equipment of buildings and facilities
  • Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all facilities systems
  • Perform some skilled trades work/troubleshooting relating to HVAC, chiller, boiler, air compressor, electrical or plumbing
  • Works with outside vendors as a project manager for the installation and repair and/or assembly of all facility related equipment
  • Make routine or special inspections of the facility and grounds to determine necessary repair work
  • Schedule building system repair and preventative maintenance to support equipment such as sprinklers, chillers, boilers, air compressors, air dryers, internal and external drainage systems, overhead doors, rooftop environmental control equipment and drains, including HVAC units, exhaust fans, generators, and UPS systems
  • Assist in the continual improvement of facilities department operations and maintenance procedures
  • Tracks, charts, and records facility equipment conditions and parameters to ensure that they are operating efficiently
  • Support manufacturing in the maintenance and operation of production equipment

    Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or a closely related field plus 2 years' experience in facilities maintenance.
