Full Job Description

  • Prepare documentation and software media (e.g., PSC (production software configurations) builds, Rig discs, UK/KSA Service Mods) following RFA (request for amendment) instructions for loading onto Production and Development Aircraft across Europe, ensuring timely delivery
  • Manage and progress software configuration control for Avionic Systems using the PCMS (product configuration management systems) toolset, ensuring compliance with EF procedures
  • Oversee change management (SCA - software change authority - distribution), and the secure and accurate distribution of configured products across the Eurofighter project
  • Maintain data integrity within the project configuration management toolset, ensuring adherence to export control, security classification and lifecycle state regulations
  • Provide support to the SMG (software management group) ITAR Co-ordinator
  • Interfacing with multiple departments, exposure to the wider business

    Ability to follow detailed local processes and procedures, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in PSC build releases
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to in-house toolsets and software configuration management systems (e.g. PCMS database)
  • Basic IT/PC application skills, including Excel
  • Desirable:
  • Knowledge of the Typhoon platform
  • Understand ITAR regulations

  • The Software Management Group (SMG) team: In this role you will play a critical role in delivering software across the Typhoon Eurofighter project, interfacing with various BAE sub systems teams and external Eurofighter stakeholders.
